Obituary of Florence Lelah Morgan

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother Florence Lelah Morgan of Estey’s Bridge, NB She died peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on August 3rd, 2022. Born on August 16, 1932 in Johnsville N.B. she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Beulah (Swimm) Giberson.

She was a homemaker and loved every minute of it! She loved our big family gatherings, especially our summer barbeques. In earlier years she enjoyed going door to door collecting for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. There were always homemade goodies to be found in her kitchen, especially her bread. She was devoted to watching her soap operas, and loved to tell us about each episode in great detail. She was an enthusiastic Bingo player!

She is survived by her son, Larry Morgan, wife Debbie of Rusagonis, NB; daughter, Susan Wilson, husband Peter of Estey’s Bridge, NB; 6 grandchildren, Miranda Robinson (Antonio) of Calgary, Alberta; Adam Morgan (Greta) of Salem Indiana; Jamie Morgan (Michelle) of Rusagonis, NB; Nicholas Wilson (Stephanie) of Rusagonis, NB; Nicole Morgan (Ryan) of Tracy NB; Samantha Burton (Tom) of Estey’s Bridge NB; 9 great grandchildren. Sisters, Gladys Cockerill, Wanetta Carmichael, Cathy Wadden, Wilda Adams and 1 brother Clarence Giberson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gorden, her sons Robert and Brian, her sisters Rowena and Glenna, her brothers Clayton and Floyd.

There will be no visitation or memorial service.

Family members are welcome to join the interment at the Fielding Cemetery at a later date to be announced via Facebook.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
