Tom, Karlie & Tommy and Rolande's siblings.
My deepest condolences. Rolande was a wonderful friend. She was a very strong person and certainly demonstrated this during her battle with cancer. She was a fighter and always maintained her sense of humour even when she wasn't feeling her best. She was very brave. Rolande had a heart of gold. I have many fond memories that I will cherish from our working days to our personal friendship we developed over the years. We had some wonderful times together. Tom you were a wonderful husband and friend and was always there for her even though it wasn't always easy I'm sure. You complimented each other. Karlie and Tommy, she loved you dearly and was very proud of you and her beautiful grand babies. To her siblings she knew you were there for her. Rolande and I had some great conversations and had alot in common as we both came from large families. We had many wonderful times together and I will always cherish those times. I will miss her dearly and her wit and her charm.

Rolande was a very special woman. She was a kind, generous and loyal friend and colleague. With her ability to see the absurd and comical, had she chosen, she could have been a successful improv stand-up comedienne. We were very fortunate to have known her.

My most sincere condolences at this very challenging time. Since I met Rolande many years ago, she has been a special friend. Her sense of humour kept so many of us smiling. She demonstrated such courage, strength and determination through the past several years. She always expressed her appreciation of Tom and Karlie’s support. She loved her family.
In time, you will cherish your wonderful memories and smiles. And as the years go on, those memories can be shared with her two precious grandchildren.
