Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The passing of Dorothy Patricia “Pat” Prime of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Frank Prime, occurred on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Frederick Hall - Shannex.  Born on August 3, 1933 in Regina, SK, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Howard) Nelson.

Pat grew up in Saskatchewan and especially enjoyed her summers at Regina Beach. She left home to work in Toronto, where she met her husband to be, Frank, who brought her to NB where they eventually settled on Keswick Ridge.  Pat loved the outdoors, working with her hands alongside husband Frank, of 57 yrs. She loved all her fur babies and rescued many strays over the years. When she wasn’t away at horse shows or dog shows she was happily at home in her garden or wandering about the farm with her family members and dogs. She had a love for music and a talent for painting. She was a Life time member of the Canadian Morgan Horse Association. Pat was a dedicated supporter of the World Wildlife Federation and Operation Smile for many years.  She will be greatly missed.

Pat is survived by her children, Carol (George) of Keswick Ridge, NB, Dr. Thomas Prime (Gwen) of Burtts Corner, NB and Wendy Prime of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Dylan Egers, Merrilee Lawrence (Josh), Rebecka Egers (Joel Nason), Olivia Currie (Tyler), Logan Staples and Paige Staples; great grandchildren, Thomas, Ivy and Lucy Currie, Oliver, Penny and Maggie Lawrence, Fletcher and Francais Nason; brother, Patrick Nelson of Saskatoon, SK; sister, Lois Ash (Bill) of Medicine Hat, AB; sisters in law, Jennet Neill and Mary Prime; brothers in law, Bill Prime (Charlotte) and Don Prime; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes there will be no visitation.  A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  For those who wish remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
