Obituary of Camille Claude Roussel

Surrounded by his family, the passing of Camille Claude Roussel, husband of Vivian (Fraser) Roussel of Fredericton, NB, occurred on June 11, 2022 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on September 17, 1930 in Edmunston, NB, he was the son of the late William and Delia (Martin) Roussel. Camille was an accountant by profession and enjoyed digital photography.

In addition to his loving wife, Vivian, Camille is survived by his sons, Gerald Roussel, Donald Roussel (Karen); chosen-son, Patrick Thibault (Janice); chosen-daughters, Susan Spencer (Graeme), Carla Neadow-Illsley (late Colin); chosen-grandchildren, Charles, Greg, Ben, Bailey, Lecia and Tamara; chosen-great-grandchildren, Reina, Lennox, Levi, Oliver and Amelia; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Raymond Roussel; brother, Enoil Roussel; chosen-grandson, Mark Neadow.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 2 pm with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan officiating.  Interment will take place in Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are chosen-grandsons, Charles and Greg Spencer, Ben Thibault, Matthew Colbourne, Ben Murphy and Erik Roach.
