Please share a memory of Marie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The passing of Marie Lois Edith Grant of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Wayne Grant, occurred on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Hospice Fredericton.  Born on September 1, 1958 she was a daughter of Marguerite (King) Lint and the late Kenneth Lint.

In addition to her mother, Marie is survived by her son, Scott Grant; siblings, Sandra Lint and her children, Brent Lint and Robbie Parker; Susan Lint (Stuart) and their children, Eric and Lisa Justason; and Michael Lint (Kim McCloskey-Lint) and their children, Ethan and Samuel Lint; and special family friend, Gary Foster.

An avid sports fan, Marie loved spending time at Royals Field watching her brother play and coach with The Fredericton Senior Royals.  She had a love for bowling and she loved to watch her son Scott bowl. She was always so proud.  Many foundations of friendships were made with her recent career at Giant Tiger and the bowling community including special friend Jeanne Moore who always lent a helping hand and her time to Marie.

The family would like to specially thank Hospice Fredericton, 3 East (DECH) and all of their staff for the tremendous care and support shown to Marie.

A Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, June 2nd and the family will receive visitors from 2-5 pm at Marie’s brothers home.  A Private Family Interment will take place in Taymouth Community Cemetery at a later date with Rev. Sara Palmater officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.).  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
