Obituary of Harry Richard MacLean

The passing of Harry Richard MacLean of Fredericton, NB, husband of Becky Banks, occurred on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on October 17, 1954 in Loggieville, NB, he was the son of the late Donald and Sophie (Gallant) MacLean.   

In addition to his loving wife, Harry is survived by his daughters, Michelene Stewart (Michael), Krista MacDonald (Dale) and their mother, Doreen Somers; grandchildren, Sophie, Josh, Lilah, Connor and Ryan; sisters, Julie Adams (Bryan), Karen Clancy (Frank) and Donna MacLean (Frank); sisters in law, Kathy MacLean (Bruce), Faye MacLean (Al), Elaine VanHorne (Art); brother in law, Mick Bisanz (Margie) and Paul Banks (Wendy); and many beloved nieces and nephews...and  of course, his fur-babies Edna and Angus and his special fur-girl, Gertie!

Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by his siblings, Bruce MacLean, Alexander MacLean and Margie Bisanz; and sister in law, Anne Marie.

There will be no visitation by request.  A Memorial Service will take place from Crosspoint Church, 4 Coronation Court, Fredericton, NB on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11 am with Rev. Tim Guptill officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
