Obituary of Eleanor Anne Haines

The passing of Eleanor (Melanson) Haines of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of the late Sydney Haines occurred on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Fredericton Hospice House.  Born on July 29, 1945 in River Hebert, NS, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Beatrice (White) Melanson. 

 

Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Mary Lou Willis (Trevor) of Three Hills, AB and Donna Gates of Moncton, NB and sons, Patrick Haines of Vancouver, BC and John "Tristan" Parker of Moncton, NB; granddaughter, Taylor Horner (Elijah) of Abbotsford, BC; siblings, Shirley Brooks (late James), Mary Lee (Layton Porter) Melanson, Garnet Melanson and Lonnie Melanson (Pearl) all of Amherst, NS, Richard Melanson (Lorna) of Maccan, NS and Timmy Melanson of British Columbia; several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Rose Melanson and brother, David Melanson.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the Apostolic Watchman Pentecostal Church, 1122 Tripp Settlement Road, Burtt’s Corner on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6-8 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held from the Apostolic Watchman Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2 pm with Pastor Lewis Seeley officiating. Interment will be in Zealand Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Apostolic Watchman Pentecostal Church.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
