Obituary of Tammy Lyons

The passing of Tammy Lyons of Fredericton, NB, wife of Eugene "Gene" Lyons, occurred on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 27, 1963 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Henry “Harry” and Vivian (Lyons) Lynch.  Tammy loved animals and had a wicked sense of humour.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Maggie Lyons-MacFarlane (Nicki); sister, Judy Spencer (Gordon); brothers, Melvin Hovey (Brenda) and Wally Lynch; sister in law, Donna Hovey and Gene Hovey’s children, Shyanne Hovey, Allison Hovey and Jason Curtis; nieces and nephews, Prudi and Wesley Spencer, Brooke Lynch and Andy Hovey. Besides her parents, Tammy was predeceased by her brother, Gene Hovey; nephew, Shaun Hovey; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton , NB on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 6-8 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11 am with Rev. Canon Kevin Stockall officiating.  Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery.
