Obituary of Preston Norris Price

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Preston Norris Price of Priceville, NB. He passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital following a very brief illness. Preston was born July 2, 1934, in Priceville, NB, son of the late Lydia (Stewart) Price and Chester Price.

Besides his parents, Preston was predeceased by sister, Zelda Mooers; brothers, Cole Price, Samuel Price and Howard Price; nephews, Barry Mooers, Darrah Long, Wilfred Price and Warren Price Sr; as well as special friend and sister-in-law, Shirley Price; brothers-in-law, Dave Mooers and Aubrey Long.

Preston is survived by his sisters, Alice Long of Porter Cove and Queenie Price of Fredericton, NB; sister-in-law, Wanda Price of New Bandon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wish to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff in the ICU at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. At the request of the family there will be no public service or visitation at this time.
