Obituary of Kathy McCoombs

The passing of Mary Katherine McCoombs of Fredericton, NB, wife of Garth Eric McCoombs occurred on Wednesday, March 17, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on March 10, 1952 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" and Margaret "Marg" (Stevens) Nobles. Kathy was a stay at home mom, and in later years enjoyed working at Laura Secord. She loved to travel with her husband and spending time with her family.
 

In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her son, Cory McCoombs; daughter, Sara Murphy (Chris); step-grandson, Tyler Murphy; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her sister, Judy Nobles and step-sister, Mary-Evelyn Mercer.

Although there will be no visitation; a Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Staff at the Extra-Mural Program.
