Obituary of Yvonne Mary-Anna Bouchard

 

BOUCHARD, YVONNE (MAILLET)

It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne (Maillet) Bouchard announces her passing on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Thomas Hall, Shannex.  Born in Plaster Rock, NB on June 29, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Perlogie (Chevarie) and Anthony Maillet.

 

Yvonne was a very good cook, and kept a meticulous home.  She loved to fish and hunt, and was very proud that she taught her only son how to hunt.  She was a very strong bible believing Christian, and was a member of Devon Park Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her children, Norman (Colleen) Bouchard, Anita Bernard, Marie Kelly and Shyanne Corey; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; sisters, Orise Crosman, Irene Richard and Freda Martin; as well as  nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her husband, David Bouchard; sisters, Rose Amy Agnew, Marie Colton and Alice Ted; brothers, Joe, Eddie, Everett, Arthur, Jerry and Clarence Maillet.

 

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Thomas Hall, Shannex for the exceptional care they provided to our mom over the eleven years she was there. 

 

A Private Graveside Service will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, donations in Yvonne’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
