Obituary of Iva Pearl Savage

The passing of Iva Pearl Savage of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at York Care Centre.  Born on March 26, 1937 in Holtville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Oral and Jessie (Carson) Munn.  She was a member of Capital Community Church.  Iva enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Seniors Bowling League.  She worked as a Caregiver for the Red Cross for many years.

Iva is survived by her sons, Steven Savage (Jane) of Fredericton and Michael Savage (Brenda) of Norton; grandsons, Robert West and Ryan Savage; sisters, Mary Ann White of Marysville, Hazel Hiscock (Edward) of Ottawa and  Beatrice Boise of Marysville, three great-grandchildren, Asher, Hunter and Skyla; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Roydan Savage; sisters,  Flora Pollock, Ellen "Queenie" Lint,  Eva McKinley, Edith Bishop and an infant sister; brothers, James and John Munn.

Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 7-9 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing Street, Fredericton on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date. In lieu of flowers by request, remembrances may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital, Capital Community Church - Missionary Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
