The passing of “Laura” Lollie Maisie Arbeau-LeBlanc of Fredericton, NB, wife of Regis LeBlanc, occurred on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.  Born on December 2, 1933 in Upper Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Florence Peterson. Laura previously worked at St. Thomas University and was a member of Capital Community Church in Marysville.

 

In addition to her husband, Laura is survived by her children, Glen Arbeau of Abbotsford, BC, Sandra McDermaid of Erin, ON, Stan Arbeau of Toronto, ON, Cynthia Arbeau of Hay River, NWT, Shawn Arbeau (Mirjana) of Mississauga, ON, Shelley Doucette (Rev. Michael) of Pennfield; chosen daughter, Shanna Arbeau of Fredericton; grandchildren, Laura, Tammy, Teena, Billy, Richard, Lori, Lacey, Natasha, Brittany, Kyle, Milan, Nikola, Viktorija, Taylor, Connor, Walker; several great-grandchildren; chosen sister, Joyce Arbeau (Emery) of Blackville; several nieces and nephews.


Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, William "Bill" Arbeau; siblings, Murray, Luther, Harold, Ned, Lila, Edna, Florence, Spurgeon, Evelyn and Stanley; son-in-law, Gary Barr.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. A Graveside Service will take place in Upper Blackville Pentecostal Cemetery, Arbeau Settlement at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or the Kidney Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
