Kerr, John William

 

The passing of John “Jack” Kerr of Stanley, NB, husband of Julia (Sands) Kerr, occurred on January 29, 2022 at Nashwaak Villa.  Born on April 8, 1936 in Williamsburg, NB, he was the son of the late John "Asa" and Mary "Abigail"(Fullarton) Kerr. 

 

Besides his wife, John is survived by his step-children, Paul MacDonald (Patsy), Phillip MacDonald (Katherine) and Rosemary Flynn; grandchildren Justin Flynn and Jessica (Jesse Spilman) Flynn; niece Sherry Morton (Tom) and nephews Harold (Karen) Gallagher, Dale (Jill) Gallagher and their families.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Greg and Lowell Kerr; sister, Joanne Gallagher; aunt, Maggie Fullarton; niece Judy Wasson; nephew, Michael Gallagher and great nephew, Jody Wasson.

 

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family graveside service will be celebrated at the Williamsburg Cemetery, at a later date with Rev. Lyn Hughes.
