Obituary of Glenna Lorretta Doucette

The passing of Glenna Lorretta Doucette of Marysville, NB, wife of the late Edward " Ed" Doucette, occurred on January 25, 2022 at Shannex - Neill Hall.  Born on November 17, 1931 in Barker's Point, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Julia (Chambers) Dunbar.  Glenna worked at the Marysville Cotton Mill and later worked as a Custodian at the University of New Brunswick. Glenna was a very private and giving person. She enjoyed painting, rug hooking, tapestry work, gardening, watching NHL hockey and curling.

 

Glenna is survived by her daughter Dianne LeBlanc; son Denis Doucette (Joy); grandchildren, Shianne, James, David and Marc Doucette (Alyssa); great grandson Lucas Kwasny Doucette; sisters, Edith Boudreau and Mary Lou McIssac; brothers and sisters-in-law Donald Doucette, Dale (Dianne) Doucette and Opal Doucet. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joan Horncastle, Dorothy Morgan and Katherine "Kaye" Ross; brothers, Hubert and Doug Dunbar.
