Obituary of Shawna Marie Powell

The family of Shawna Marie Powell of Richibucto Road, NB, lifelong partner of Donald Wood is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on November 24, 1971 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ricky and Anna (Flowers) Greer.  Shawna lived for her family; the love of her life Donnie, and the other half of her heart, her son Jeffrey. Wherever a beautiful soul has been there is a trail of beautiful memories.

In addition to her partner, Shawna is survived by her son, Jeffery Powell (Katie); brother, Brian Greer (Karen); two chosen sisters, Nancy Breen and Stacey Breen. In addition to her parents, Shawna was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Cecila Flowers and grandfather, Ralph Flowers.
