Obituary of Bob Mundle

Please share a memory of Bob to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Robert Oswald Mundle, known to many as Pup, beloved husband, best friend and constant companion to the late Lynn Dorothy (Parks) Mundle passed away peacefully at Paradise Villa January 18th, 2022.

Dad was born in Richibucto, NB on September 9th, 1938. Always the jokester and teaser his serious side showed when he scored top marks on the NB Provincial Exams. From there to Moncton Tech and onto a NB Power career that lasted 37 ½ years.  It was in the early days he met the Boss’s daughter in Miramichi and it was love at first sight. They eloped and moved to Marysville where they built a home and a family.

Dad left three children: Wendy Williams (late Andy Williams), Dr. William Mundle (Andrea Johnston) and Cathy Mundle (John Monteith). Four grandchildren: Dr Matt Williams (Dr. Sarah Williams) Berni Lynn Williams, Nicholas Mundle and Alison Mundle (Isaac Seifarth) of Windsor, Ontario. Great Grandson Jack Williams of Fredericton, NB.

Predeceased by parents Oswald and Bertha Mundle, Sister Shirley Mazerolle. (Joe Daigle).

Bob enjoyed life to the fullest and he was an incredible storyteller; his stories were so vivid you felt you lived them. He had a passion for all animals especially dogs and was a very experienced connoisseur of Captain Morgan Amber Rum. Another talent of his was making soup and seafood chowder. The chowder was so delicious that back in the day Devon Park Save Easy had his recipe posted in the seafood section!

He loved his property on Beautiful French Lake with summers spent on the pontoon enjoying time with friends and family.

Many thanks to the wonderful health care professionals at Paradise Villa and to Dr Tom Barry for his excellent care and compassion with Bobbie and our family.

There will be no visitation or services as per his request. A celebration of his life will occur each and every time friends gather and raise a glass to this unforgettable man! Bottoms Up!

Donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

We will miss you everyday but we are happy you are at peace and free of pain.  We love you forever Pup.

Give Lynnie & Poohie hugs for us please.
