Obituary of Keith Malcolm Hastings

The passing of Keith Malcolm Hastings of Green Hill, NB, loving husband of Susan Merrill-Hastings, occurred on January 10, 2022 at his home.  Born on February 11, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Malcolm “Ted” and Olive (Gullison) Hastings.  Keith loved driving truck, travelling across Canada and the USA and worked as a truck driver for many years.

Besides Keith’s loving wife Susan, he is survived by his children, Jamie Sopha (Christa), Keith William Hastings and Lorrie Cook (John); step-children, Jessica Rogers, David Sparkes and Sarah Sparkes; brothers, Steven Hastings (Lynn) and John Hastings; sisters, Carolyn Mulder (Jerry), Lavona Gilmore (Gerald) and Cassandra Hastings; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and foster children.  

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Randall, the palliative care Doctors, the wonderful staff of both Extra Mural and Upper Nashwaak Outreach for the exceptional care they provided to Keith over the years.

Due to the current health restrictions, there will be no service at this time. A graveside service will be celebrated at the Hillcrest United Cemetery, Stanley, NB for family at a later date.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
