The peaceful passing of Sylvia Smith of Fredericton, NB, wife of Merlin Smith, occurred on December 31, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born February 19, 1950 in Lower Derby, NB. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Edith (Jardine) Howe.

Sylvia enjoyed crafts, particularly Christmas wreaths.  She was a lifelong member of the Evangel Assembly Church in Fredericton, which she dearly loved; and appreciated the prayers and support of Rev. Duane Collicott and all the members she has known for so many years.

Many thanks to all the doctors, nurses and staff of 4SW and ICU for all the wonderful care and comfort you gave to Sylvia during her stay.
