Obituary of Gary Frank McKeil

The passing of Gary Frank McKeil of Upper Keswick, NB, occurred on December 18, 2021 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 10, 1957 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Wendall and Megan (Estey) McKeil. Gary was retired from National Defence as a carpenter.  He enjoyed camping, photography, gardening, fishing, playing cards, carpentry and spending time with his children and grandson.  He was a member of the Keswick Fishing Club.

Gary is survived by his children, Greggory McKeil (Laurisa Hickey) and Brittney McKeil; their mother Donna (Bird) Richard; brothers, Mike McKeil (Christa) and Wendall Waugh (Pat); sister Karen McNeill; grandson Malachi McKeil; nephews, Matthew and Jacob McKeil; several nieces and nephews; father -in-law Donald Bird. He was predeceased by his brother, Allan Waugh; mother-in-law Helen Bird.

Due to the current health situation, the Funeral Service by invitation will take place at the Burtts Corner Christian Church on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at 11am with Pastor Dan Foreman officiating. The public are invited to via. cornerchurch.ca/sermons.For those attending the Funeral Service, masks, proof of vaccination and government issued ID is required.   For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Burtts Corner Lions Club.
