The passing of Ryan Joseph York, husband of Melissa York (McIntyre) of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.  Born on February 12, 1982 in Etobicoke, ON, he was the son of Deborah York and Malcolm "Mac" Costello.  Ryan loved the outdoors, was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with his children. He was a carpenter by trade, a huge hockey fan and an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

In addition to his mother, father and his loving wife, Ryan is survived by his children, Nathan and Addison, both at home; sister, Kerrie York; brother, Jordan York; grandmother, Alice Giberson (Walter); aunts, Donna Bryam and Roxanne York; uncle, Terry York; mother and father-in-law, Carleen and Matthew McIntyre.

Ryan was predeceased by his grandfather, Graydon York.

A visitation to celebrate Ryan’s life will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
