Obituary of Margaret Blanche Murray

With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Margaret Blanche Murray (Cochrane) of Fredericton, occurred on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at York Care Centre. She was the wife of the late Weyman Murray. Born on April 8, 1933 in Beersville, NBshe was the daughter of the late Frederick and Rachel (Spencer) Cochrane.   

 

Margaret was always active and traveled often; she attended the Nashwaaksis Untied Church.  Margaret loved to bake, cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family as often as she could.

 

Margaret is survived by  her children, Rhonda Seymour (Terry) of Fredericton, Vicky Friend (Greg) of Cold Lake, AB and Kevin Murray (Laurie) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Erin Seymour, Laura Seymour, Thomas Seymour, Ryan Friend (Carlie) and Cory Friend; great grandchildren, Gavin Seymour, Isabelle Seymour Morote and Luca Friend; brother, Bill Cochrane (Judy) of Chipman, and sister, Debbie Filmore of Beersville, several nieces and nephews.   In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was predeceased by her sister, Amy Heagney and brothers, Lester and Kenneth Cochrane.

 

The family would like to thank the staff of Tower Two at York Care Centre for their wonderful  and amazing care. 
 

A Graveside Service will take place at Wallbridge Cemetery, Minto, on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Delong officiating, all are welcome to attend. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Wallbridge Cemetery Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
