McArthur, Marion Annette Emma  

The passing of Marion (Myshrall) McArthur of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late James McArthur, occurred on October 10, 2021 at Paradise Villa.  Born on May 13, 1938 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Francis Edward and Louisa (Kerr) Myshrall.  Marion worked for many years as a Registered Nurse with York Care Center.  Marion was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church and was a volunteer with Bibles for Missions. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and photography. 

Marion is survived by children, Kathy McArthur of Fredericton, NB, Louisa Petznick (Ross) of Cranberry Portage, MB, Malcolm McArthur (Helen) of Tay Creek, NB, and Amy Doucet (Peter) of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Raymond Myshrall (Susan) of Langley, BC and David Myshrall of Ontario, sister, Lois Myshrall (Ian) of New Zealand; grandchildren, Leslie, Jamie, Vanessa, Katherine, Elizabeth, Craig and Emma; great grandchildren Harmony, CJ and James; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Norman Myshrall. 

Marion’s family would like to especially thank the staff and administration at Paradise Villa for their excellent care over these past few years. As well as Lisa Arbeau, her special friend and caregiver. Thanks to all her neighbors on Ruby Court. 

A private family graveside service will be celebrated at the Stirling United Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Alzheimer's Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
