BOOKER, JAMES DONALD 

 

The passing of James Donald Booker of Estey's Bridge, NB, occurred on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 1, 2004 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of John and Jacqueline (Fanjoy) Booker.  James was a student at Leo Hayes High School. He liked working for the summer at Rohirrim Farms.  James enjoyed gaming, snowmobiling, motorcycles, hunting, camping and all things outdoors.

 

In addition to his parents, James is survived by his sisters, Emma Booker (Katrina Whelan) and Julie Booker; brother, Jacob Booker; grandmother, Joyce Fanjoy (Peter Rathburn); several aunts, uncles and cousins. James was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Shirley Booker and Donald Fanjoy; aunt, Cynthia Booker and uncle, George Booker.

 

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Messenger in Fredericton (DECRH) and Dr. Laing in Halifax (IWK), for the care that James had received from the age of 8. 

 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Walker officiating. For those attending the public visitation or funeral service, masks are required and will need to provide proof of vaccination and government issued ID.  For those unable to attend the service, it can be viewed by registering through the Funeral Home’s Website (Click on the link in James’s obituary).  Interment will be held in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the IWK.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
