With great sadness, we announce the passing of Nelson Reid Turnbull, husband of Brenda (Levesque) Turnbull of Maugerville, NB on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born on January 13, 1957 in Fredericton, he was the son of Glen and Evelyn (Murray) Turnbull. Nelson was a jack of all trades and a master of many. He was a part time comedian and a full-time great man. 

 

In addition to his loving wife and parents, Nelson is survived by his sons, Colin Turnbull (Kate LeBlanc) and Brett Turnbull (Nicole), both of Fredericton and their mother, Katherine; sister, Janet Stewart (Bill) of Ontario; brother, John Turnbull of Portland, ME; several nieces and nephews. 

 

Nelson was predeceased by his brother, Scott Turnbull. 

 

A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 2 pm.

 

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Friday September 24, 2021 starting at 6 pm at 2381 Route 105, Sheffield. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Oromocto SPCA.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
