Obituary of Frank Ernest Kenney

The passing of Frank Ernest Kenney of Keswick Ridge, NB, husband of Elaine (Kelly) Kenney occurred on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on March 11, 1945 in NB, he was the son of the late Raymond and Margretta (Fulton) Kenney.  Frank worked for over 30 years between Kenney's Refrigeration Company and his own company, A1 Refrigeration.  Frank was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed to hunt, fish, go four wheeling and liked taking trips to the ocean, especially Grand Manan, Campobello Island and Cuba.  Frank loved watching football and was known for his famous deer meat stir fry during the Super Bowl each year; he also enjoyed playing cards and listening to music.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Steven Kenney, Mark Kenney and Margaret Kenney-Brown (Justin); grandchildren, Allie Piercy, Sophiya Culliton, Amelia Kenney, Madison and Hudson Brown; his brother, Ewart Kenney. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Christable Snell.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 6-8 pm.  The Funeral Service will take place by invitation only at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11 am with Rev. David Luker and Rev. Dr. Amos Adeniyi officiating.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the IWK or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
