Obituary of Todd Whitlock

It is with great sadness that the family of Cecil "Todd" Whitlock announce his passing on June 24, 2021 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 21, 1974 to Margaret and the late Cecil Whitlock, Todd is survived by his mother Margaret; brother, Derek (Jessica); and nieces, Alexa and Drew. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins and life long friends Mike, Jason and Chris.

Todd worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator at Maple Leaf Homes. He loved playing baseball, hockey, bowling and earned the nickname "Nifty". He especially loved a good game of crib with friends and family.

When Todd's father passed away he moved back in to support his mother. Together they enjoyed watching movies, game shows, sports, and playing cards. Todd loved travelling with his family, especially his nieces. Among his favorite trips were a Caribbean Cruise and Disney World. These are special memories we will all share forever.

Todd had a wonderful relationship with his nieces, Alexa & Drew. He teased them constantly, loved to watch them play sports and just hang out.

We would like to thank the Oncology Department; Todd really enjoyed your friendly faces, the Palliative Care Unit with a special thank you to Melissa, Dr. J. Goodyear and Dr. Gillis-Doyle.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Lions Club on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 2-4 pm.  A Private Graveside service to be held at Douglas Rural Cemetery.
