Obituary of Joel Edward Cowie

The passing of Joel Edward Cowie of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on November 3, 1969 in Fredericton, NB,  he was the son of the late Donald and Joan (Kerton) Cowie.  

Joel is survived by brother, Brent Cowie (Lisa) of Fredericton, NB and Andrew Cowie (Denise Norrad) of Lincoln, NB; nieces and nephew,  Sarah (Jeff), Kenneth (Marie) and Anna (Brett); great niece, Ariella Balcombe; great nephew, Atticus Balcombe.

Public Visistation will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 12-1 pm followed by the Memorial Service at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating; due to the current health issues the service will be by invitation. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery.
