Alison, Rick Patrick

Rick Patrick Alison of Fredericton, NB, partner of Greta Giberson, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 11, 2021. Born on December 17, 1961 in Fredericton, NB,  he was the son of James and the late Eileen (Hughes) Alison. Rick worked in Environmental Services at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for 13 years and previously worked as a long haul driver for 21 years. He was a very giving person, Rick would go out of his way to help others. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his partner and father, Rick is survived by his children, Brandon Alison (Celina), Kaleigh Alison (Troy), Katelyn Alison, Kymber Alison (Kyle), and Austin Alison; grandchildren, Chase, Mason, Jace, Brodie, Zoey, Douglas, Leah, Alaina, and Paige; sister, Evelyn O'Donnell (Doug); nephew, Matthew (Lisa Dawn); niece, Victoria (Nick); four great nieces and nephews

At Rick's request there will be no services. The family wish to express a heartfelt Thank You to, his Palliative Care Team, Dr. MacDonald, Dr. Gillis-Doyle, Dr. Cameron and Dr. Goodyear; his Respiratory Team, Dr. Baird and Kelly his respiratory therapist; and his Palliative Care Extra Mural Nurses, his "Guardian Angels". For those who wish, remembrances may be made to New Brunswick Lung Association, the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hosipital or donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
