Obituary of Mavis Joan Murdock

The passing of Mavis Joan Murdock of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late William A. Murdock occurred, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at York Care Centre.  Born on May 6, 1934 in North Tay, NB, she was the daughter of the late Barry and Pearl (McLaughlin) Wilson.   Mavis was a Registered Nurse and worked at both the Victoria Public Hospital and the York Care Centre. 

Mavis is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie Doiron (Raymond) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Troy and Becky; great grandchildren, Lilly, Chase and Reid Oulette, and Greyson Doiron; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Hazel, Jean, Donald, Harold, Josephine, Lorne, Elsie, Cleve, Muriel, Marge, and Vonnie.

There will be no services by request.  Interment will take place in Ottawa, ON at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
