Obituary of Dorothy Christina Boone

The passing of Dorothy Christina Boone of Tay Creek, NB, wife of Allen Boone occurred on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at her son's residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born on November 16, 1933 in Tay Mills, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma (MacKinnon) Thomas.  Dorothy was a member of North Cardigan United Church. She was a hard working house wife.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her son, Duane Boone (Cathy) of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Bonnie Thomas of Jemseg, NB and Ellen Harris (Guy) of Fredericton Junction, NB; brother, David Thomas (Kathy) of Williamsburg, NB; sisters-in-law, Doreen Thomas, Ann Thomas and Rowena Needle; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Evelyn MacKinnon; brothers, Garnet Thomas, Frank Thomas (late Ina), Jack Thomas and Carl Thomas; brothers-in-law, Irvine Boone, Vincent Elliotte and Archie MacKinnon.

The Graveside Service will take place in North Cardigan United Church Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the North Cardigan United Church Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
