Obituary of Alisia Almeda Barry

The sudden passing of Alisia Almeda Barry of Oromocto, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.  Born on September 25, 1989 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Sandra Ward and Brent Barry (Rhea). 

Alisia was a daughter and mother, who had a spark for life, and lived unapologetically which made it easy for her to make friends.  Her motto in life was to see everyone happy and content. She had a huge heart, which led to her having compassion and love for animals and the need to rescue as many as she could. 

Besides her parents, Alisia is survived by her children, Gavin, Aylah and Cohen; brother, Tyler; “sister from another mother”, Robyn; special friend, Blair; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her by her grandparents, Doris Ward, Herbert Ward (Barb Cole), William Barry and Morris Cockerill (Gladys). 

Due to the current health issues, covid protocols will be in place for the Public Visitation which will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, April 18, 2021 and Monday, April 19, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers and Alisia’s love for animals, donations can be made to the Fredericton SPCA or the charity of the donor’s of choice.
