Obituary of Georgina Grace Saad

The passing of Georgina Grace Saad of Fredericton, NB, wife of Ben Saad occurred on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on May 17, 1940 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Munn) Storey.  She was a cook at Northeast Christian College.

In addition to her husband, Georgina is survived by her children, Melody Clowater of Edmonton, AB, Rolland Clowater, Blaine Clowater (Becky Lewis) both of Fredericton, NB and Jody Fraser (Troy) of Durham Bridge, NB; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Alberta Norrad of Boiestown, NB, Frankie Storey (Carol) of Doaktown, NB, Norris Storey (Gladys) of Fredericton, NB, Molly Norrad (Bobbie) of Boiestown, NB and Diana Storey of Doaktown, NB; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, and first husband, Cyril Clowater, Georgina was predeceased by her son, Terry Clowater and brother, Lloyd Storey (Claudette).

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing Street, Fredericton on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 2-4 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Capital Community Church on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 2 pm. The public is invited to watch a Live Webcast of the service on the church’s website. Interment will be in Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to Northeast Christian College or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
