Obituary of Vella Marie MacLaughlin

The passing of Vella Marie MacLaughlin of Fredericton, NB occurred on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at home.  Born on October 22, 1944 in Fredericton, NB,  she was the daughter of the late Elburne and Marie (Ferguson) MacLaughlin. Vella worked as a secretary for Department of National Defense, Greenwood, NS. She was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church, helped with the UCW and was a volunteer at York Care Centre.

Vella was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Gordon "Corey" MacLaughlin and sister, Edwinna Budrow.
 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 6-8 pm.  Interment will take place at a later date.
