An incredible woman. So kind and understanding, someone who was there for me in a very trying time for me many years ago. She could easily understand someone who was in pain and quick to put aside those who were not caring or compassionate. She never held back for the sake of being polite and that honesty set her aside from most of us.
I'll truly miss you Joanne and the beautiful person that you were.

To all the Polches and Gabriel family. I was so saddened to see Joanne's, obituary. It was total shock to see her here so young. Joanne and I spent many years together as friends in school, had a lot of good laughs and made a lot of good memories. One memory is of her playing the piano at her Mom and Dads, playing the Rolling Stones song, Angie. Is was so beautiful, she was very talented and very smart. Her Mom was a special lady as well. I also remember the 2 of the kids growing up, Alison and Joseph. We stayed in touch over the years, but time did separate us and we lost touch with our busy lives.
My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. Rest in peach Joanne, until we meet again. xo

I remember the many family visits we had in Montreal, Toronto and Fredericton when we were growing up. At about age 12, Joanne played "The Entertainer" on piano for us. It was incredible! I am glad we reconnected on Facebook, if only for a short time.
Rest in peace dear cousin. Deepest sympathy to the family.

I remember hearing a very little girl, maybe 7 or 8 years old, playing Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik at a piano recital at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Oh how Joanne loved her music!
