Obituary of "Amy" Emerentienne Ellis

The passing of Marie Emerentienne “Amy” Ellis of Fredericton, NB, wife of James Ellis, occurred on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Hospice Fredericton after battling a rare blood disorder.  Born on August 21, 1944 in Neguac, NB, she was a daughter of the late David and Marie (Richard) Plourde.   

“Amy” Emerentienne is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Brewer (Roy); grandchildren, Jonathan Caissie (Toni) and Nicolas Jenkins (Jordan); great grandson, Ethan; step children, Bill Ellis (Laura), Weston Ellis (Patsy) and Wayne Ellis (Shannon); brothers, Alex and Don Plourde; and several nieces and nephews with special mention to Marianna and Georgianna; and friend Gina. 

Besides her parents, "Amy" Emerentienne was predeceased by her son, Victor Caissie; daughter, Joanne Caissie; and siblings, Lynn, Alvida and Prime. 

 

Visitation will take place at a time to be announced.  Interment will take place in the Église de Saint- Bernard Cimetière, Neguac, NB at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made by a blood donation or charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
