CLOWATER, BARBARA LOUISE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Louise (Stone) Clowater at York Manor on January 12, 2021 only a few days before her 91st birthday. Barbara was born in Devon January 24, 1930 to Alfred and Vera (Collins) Stone. Barbara started her working days at Zellers as a young girl. Retiring from her government job in Statics Canada as a senior enumerator after 30 years. She loved her work and enjoyed all the people she met during here career.

 She was a member of Nashwaaksis Women’s Institute for years and enjoyed her Tuesday night ladies bowling league. She enjoyed baking sweets, there was never a shortage and they were enjoyed by many. Mom cherished the time she spent with her family.


Barbara was survived by her daughters Janice Reynolds and Nancy Lofstrom (Richard); grandchildren Tammy Daigle (Chris), Tara Stewart (Andrew), David Reynolds (MaryAnne), Rhea Lofstrom, Cory Lofstrom (Mallory); great grandchildren, Cole Stewart (Brianna), Cameron Stewart, Leah Daigle, Lucy Daigle, Kate Reynolds, Will Reynolds, Ben Reynolds and Jake Reynolds.She was predeceased by her husband James; brother Fred Stone and son-in-law David Reynolds.
The family would like to thank the staff of York Manor, Tower Two for their exceptional care mom received while calling York Manor her home.

Barbara’s arrangements are entrusted with York Funeral Home. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation a private celebration of mom and dad’s life will be held at a later date.
