Joy, Gwen, Wendy and Heather,
Just wanted to let you know we are thinking about your family right now and wanted to send our sympathy. I remembered your Mom from my years at UNB as I seemed to spend a lot of time in the library. I was very pleased when I found out that she and your Dad were our neighbours at Grand lake. They always were friendly and made us feel welcome on the lane. Over the years we have been fortunate to meet family members and many have become our dear friends.
Your Mom was a lovely lady with a big heart and always a smile on her face. She had such a sense of humour and was good at telling stories, maybe not as good as your Dad but a close second. She truly appreciated the lake life and I know was happiest when her family visited. There was always lots of laughter from your cottage in the summer time.
I know you must have so many positive memories of her that will comfort all of you in the future. We were happy to know her and will fondly remember her too as a wonderful person, mother and grandmother.
Love from Pat and Rick

I didn't know Ruth well but she was a resident at the same place my grandmother lives. We would stop on our way out each week for a little chat. She always loved seeing my girls and she would tell me that she raised four girls of her own. You could tell she was very proud of her children. She will be missed and my thoughts & prayers go out to the family.

Ruth's family,
I worked with Ruth during my first job at GB Murphy Ltd. on Queen Street. Ruth was so much fun to work with, a great sense of humour, and I'm not sure she ever sat down. She was a wonderful woman, and I know you will miss her terribly.
In Peace,
Dale Carle

It is with great sadness that I read of Ruth’s passing today. We knew her and Jim well when attending Gibson Memorial Church. They were a wonderful couple and so very well liked and respected by the congregation.
Our condolences are passed on to all of your Mom & Dad’s family at this time.
