Dear aunt Ethel, cousins Suzanne, Paul and Mark,
I offer you my most sincere sympathies. I have so many good memories of “oncle Pierre”. I remember him telling me to get behind the wheel of his car (a grey Dodge Diplomat?) to go for a ride in Levis, nothing exceptional other than the fact that I was probably 12 years old at the time! I will remember him for him being consistently funny. Merci
David Vigneault (son of Céline)

I was saddened to read of Pierre's death and extend my sympathies to all who cherished him as a family member or friend. When Pierre came to live in an apartment in our neighbourhood, I enjoyed talking with him on his walks past our house. We reminisced about our time serving together on a board in the 1970s. He was a very friendly, good-humoured man who had passion for what he did and the competence and integrity that went along with it. RIP Pierre.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.
I was Pierre’s counterpart in Coaching with the Nova Scotia government.
We worked on many projects together . He was a great mentor to me , a man of incredible integrity and passion for sport and coaches. Pierre advocated for NB coaches tirelessly within the province. He was well respected within the ranks of sport at the National level as well. Community coaches benefitted greatly from all his efforts.
We missed him in Atlantic Canada when he retired.
I know where Pierre is resting now that he is at peace. He is making all those smile around him with that great sense of fun he spread wherever he went.
Sincerely
Liz Pace

Ethel and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Pierre's passing. I worked with Pierre at the Province starting in 1990 until he retired. He will always have a special place in my heart! He was such a kind, generous and caring person. He always kept us entertained and there were many laughs and many pranks.
He was one of a kind and it was indeed an honor and a pleasure to have worked with and known him! He will be missed deeply!
Sending prayers to you all at this difficult time.

Ethel, I was shocked to hear of Pierre’s passing, especially as he had just sent me a note regarding Brian’s. My sympathies and condolences go out to you and your family. I had the pleasure of not only knowing Pierre from the Curling Club, but also from working in the government with him. Maybe he and Brian are setting up a new curling team.

I am truly saddened to learn of Pierre's passing. He was a super funny guy and never shy to share his stories. We hosted great conversations over the past few years at income tax time. He acquired a lot of friends and colleagues over the years with fond memories during his career.
He will be missed by his family, friends and everyone that knew him even briefly.
Take care and cherish your memories.
Sharing prayers and all kind thoughts,
