Obituary of Paul Otis O'Hara

The passing of Paul Otis O'Hara of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Peggy (Orr) O’Hara, occurred on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on July 26, 1932 he was a son of the late Kenneth and Ella (Shanks) O'Hara. 

 

Paul is survived by his daughters, Eleanor O'Hara, Ann Cummings (Mike) and Dawn Paget (Todd Gamblin); grandchildren, Samantha (Kyle), Rodney (Laura), Shawn, Kailey and Jordan; great grandchildren, Jared, Jessa and Josh; sisters, Dorothy MacLeod (Angus), Kathryn Morehouse and Noreen Williston; brother, Gerald O'Hara; and several nieces and nephews.


Besides his wife and parents, Paul was predeceased by his son, Neil O'Hara; sisters, Joan Fleiger and Jean Scott (Greg); brothers, Donald and Bryan O'Hara; son in law, Todd Paget;  sister in law, Beverley O’Hara; and brothers in law, Storey Morehouse and Melvin Williston.

 

A Celebration of Life will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 2-4 pm with social distancing practices in place.  Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
