Obituary of John Patrick Webb

The passing of Sgt. John Patrick Webb (retired with 29 years of service) of Richibucto Road, NB, occurred on December 22, 2020 at his home.  Born on July 11, 1956 in Fredericton, he was a son of the late George (Pat) and Lillian (Newman) Webb. After retiring from the military in 2004, John cared for his mother until her passing in 2016. He loved all his family and the summer reunions when relatives joined from across the country at his mom's homestead.  He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4, Fredericton. He faithfully attended the Douglas Baptist Church. He looked forward to the days with excitement to go hunting and fishing with his brother Brian and uncle Charles. Then, more recently, the Saturday card games with Brian & buddies.

John is survived by his sisters, Patricia Lounsbury (Zane) and Sherry Webb; brother, Brian Webb (Carole-Ann); and brother-in-law, Wayne Flinn, all of Fredericton. Shadow, his canine companion, was always by his side.  Additionally, he is survived by nieces & nephews, Robyn, Shelley Shawne, Brian Jr., Bradley, Patrick, Karyn, Jeremiah, Peter & Tanya; great nieces/nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family.
