Joyce was such an inspiration. She never let anything get her down! Joyce was always delighted to talk about her grandchildren, she would light right up! The last time we chatted , we were both pumping gas at the same time and the gas was overflowing on to the ground haha. So sorry to hear of her passing,

So sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Gerry, her children and grandchildren, as well as her siblings and extended family. She was a beautiful lady, so kind and friendly with everyone. I remember my mother going to her each week to get her hair done and really enjoying the visits she had with her. Joyce always made a point of speaking whenever she would see me out anywhere, and we always found something to laugh about together. She will be missed by so many people. My memories of Joyce ALL look like the picture you chose. As I read through the comments, my thought was "She was the same with everyone". What a lovely legacy -- to be known as Genuine. She was always one of the first to give me a hug when I came home and she saw me at Church. She even stopped into the house once because she "saw the Nova Scotia plate as I was driving by". My heart smiles when I think of her, as it does with Burton and Faye...wonderful, warm, loving memories. I know you all miss her terribly. Please accept my condolences, and may you find some comfort in knowing she was loved by everyone who was blessed to have known her.

We are very sad to hear of Joyce’s passing, you are all in our thoughts and prayers! We seen Joyce last fall in the Brookside mall parking lot! We had just moved back from being out west 13 years , so we were surprised to see one another, she was just driving by us and backed up and opened her door for us to see that wonderful smile of hers!! We were so happy to see her as that was our last time and our memory of her will always be that big smile!
