Obituary of Stephen Thomas Hickey

HICKEY, STEPHEN THOMAS

The passing of Stephen Thomas Hickey of Fredericton, NB, husband of Mary (Hachey) Hickey occurred on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.  Born on September 20, 1955 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Buddy and Alice Jean (Jewett) Hickey. 

In addition to his wife, Stephen is survived by his daughter, Shelly (M’Hammed) Jouahri: son, Tom  (Allyse) Hickey; sister, Joyce (Arthur) Hudlin; brothers, Peter (Marg) Hickey and Donald  (Sherry) Hickey; the lights of his life, his grandchildren, Alicia Jones, Callum Jones, Eli Jouahri, Kyson Hickey and Hazel Hickey;  father-in-law, the late Eddie Daigle; mothers-in-law, Adele Daigle and Elizabeth Hachey; several brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

A private interment will take place in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery with Rev. Charles Udeh officiating. Due to the current public health situation, masks are required.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society, IWK Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.
