Obituary of Isabel Marie Smith

The passing of Isabel Marie Smith of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Elmer Smith, occurred on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on March 15, 1939 in Lakeville Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Chipman and Mary (Lawson) Randall. Isabel enjoyed looking after and nuturing children. She enjoyed doing puzzles.

Isabel is survived by her daughter, Mary McKay (Kelly); sons, Rodney Smith (Edwina) and Kenneth Smith (Delaine); grandchildren, Michael (Holly), Mark, Amanda, Steven and Samantha; great granddaughter, Elizabeth; sister, Florence Murray; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her second husband, Gene Hennigar and siblings, Robert and Howard Randall.

The Memorial Service will take place at Devon Park Baptist Church, 145 Clark Street, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2 pm with Rev. Terry Woodcock officiating.  Masks are required and social distancing practices will be in place.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
