Obituary of Avon Lloyd Sellick

The passing of Avon Lloyd Sellick of Green Hill, NB occurred on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on February 11, 1940, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Gertrude (Elgee) Sellick.  Avon worked in the woods as well as farming over the years. He had a deep love for all animals.  Avon was always willing to lend a hand in any circumstances.   

Avon is survived by his sister, Bernice Talbot (Leslie) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB; brother, Walter Sellick (Jocelyn) of Cross Creek, NB; nephews, Craig and Martin Button and Frank Jewett; brother-in-law, Ralph Clark and his sisters; and friend Shane Sansom.
 

Besides his parents, Avon was predeceased by his nephew, Luke Sellick.

A Graveside Service will take place in Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Cross Creek, NB on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11 am with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating.  For those who wish, donations may be made to the Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the SPCA.   Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
