Obituary of Robin Dale McArthur

MCARTHUR, ROBIN DALE

The passing of Robin Dale McArthur of Scotch Lake, NB, husband of Rebecca (Storey) McArthur, occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at his home. Born on December 12, 1946 in Fredericton (Salamanca), NB, he was the son of the late Sheldon McArthur and Audrey (Timms) McArthur Jordan. Robin loved bass fishing, shopping, reading, movies, singing and weekend breakfasts out with friends and his son-in-law. Robin was a long-time employee of SA Deliveries and was known and loved by many that he visited daily during his work days.

In addition to his wife, Robin is survived by his daughters, Charity of Fredericton, NB, Samantha (Jonathon) of Scotch Lake, NB and Michelle of Fredericton, NB; son-in-law, Neil of Scotch Lake, NB, also, Tracey and Teryl; grandchildren, Summer, Destiny (Roy), Natalie, Kyle, Hope, Anthony (Kari), James (Paige), Nicholas and Jessie (Brittany); 10 great-grandchildren he adored, Serenity, Soraya, Phoenix, Ivy, Abel, Braxton, Millie, Maizie, Laston, Silver; sisters, Judy Finnamore (Richard) and Jeryl Anne MacDonald (David); many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Gary McArthur, Richard McArthur and sister, June McArthur.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Thursday August 20, 2020 from 3-6 pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
