Janella, thank you for sharing your memories of your mother. I have heartfelt memories of getting to know your mother Hazel and experiencing her wisdom as we shared experiences on our life journeys; seeking counsel from her, thoughtfully given and never judgemental; her guideance in my search for spiritual growth. When I met her on my walks in the neighbourhood, she always had time to stop for a chat; once, I recall a tea party in your backyard. So many more memories... Janella, what a light has been extinguished with your Moms passing. Hazel was such a huge part of my childhood growing up on Hillcourt.how well I remember the joy and excitement in the neighborhood when we found out you were on the way, I have never read such a beautiful obituary.
