When I first came to work at York Care I was so nervous and I remember that Pauline was so kind to me. She was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed a lift with a resident. What a wonderful person she was.

Dear Phillip and Clifford,
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy. I have so many memories, as a child, of the over night visits with Charlotte at Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Clowes's farm in Howland Ridge. Haying, milking, gardening, and making home made ice cream with Pauline. She even tried to teach me to play the organ. I remember going to Pauline and Wendell's house in Burtt's Corner for my "yearly" curly perm. The smell from the perm through out was so strong. She was quite the hairdresser. Her collection of salt and pepper shakers was amazing. Her china cabinets and shelves held hundreds. Pauline along with Lois, attended every family reunion. And always had a funny story to tell. She loved to sing and dance and I remember her singing at musical get-togethers with Uncle Elwood on harmonica, and Gerald and Johnnie on guitars. I was honored to have Pauline sing and play at our wedding. So many memories. She will be greatly missed.
Love and hugs, Kathleen and Jerry XO

To the family of Pauline, our sincere sympathy. I served with Pauline on Board for Seniors complex and on several High School Reunion Planning committees....she was always a bright spot at our meetings with her humor and ready laugh and smile. She was
a "busy bee" in the community and we will miss her presence in public events for sure as she was always there as long as her health permitted. May you find peace in knowing that she will definitely be missed. Marilyn and James Buar.

I met Pauline at a Liberal Association meeting in the '90s. .For many years, Pauline was one of those many loyal Liberals. She drove long distances to attend all meetings, helped with activities and was someone you could always count on. I and many others will miss her but we have wonderful memories to help us through this difficult time.
