So sorry to hear of Fraser’s passing. Our family, the Purser’s, also lived across the street from them on Queensland Pl. in Brockville, ON. Dot & Fraser were such active & social members of our neighbourhood, Wall Street United Church, Newcomers Club (long after they were new!). They enjoyed darts at the Legion, cards, going out for dinner, going for long drives and traveling. After they moved back to Montreal and then Fredricton, it was always so nice to get a card, email or phone call, to say hello and let us know the latest. He will be very fondly remembered.

To Family of Mr. Fraser Steeves This man was, to me, Mr. Steeves, one of my teachers at Devon School. He was very popular. I sometimes remember a comment that he made that, 'the Romans were always clean shaven'. No particular reason to remember that; but it has been one of my connections with the early '50s. I also remember discussing Mr. Steeves with Murph Allen when we both worked at Walker's Men's Wear; and Murph told me that Mr. Steeves was his brother-in-law. I reside now near Windsor Court, and pass there on a walk most days - and of course didn't realize that this connection with the past was so near. Rest in peace, Mr. Steeves. Bill Walker

To the family of Fraser, We are so saddened to hear of Fraser's passing. We moved onto Queensland Place, Brockville, Ontario, in 1997 with our 4 children. Fraser and "Dot" were our neighbours across the street. We always wondered what had happened to him, as we had heard the Dot had passed away previously. Until they moved away after Dot's health deteriorated, we had a typical neighbour relationship; stopping to chat whenever we were both out, and a wave from the car as we went by each other's house. Fraser loved to talk about the East coast, and his descriptions of the area made you want to go there and visit. We did just that, a few years ago, including a stop in Fredericton for lunch. Fraser, being the more outgoing of the couple, took a shine to our children, especially our one son Aaron, getting him to do the odd chore for him around the house. We will always remember him as a gentleman with a quick smile, who took the time to visit with you whenever he could. Our sincerest condolences on his passing, Dave and Eileen McCrae
