MCKINLEY, Katherine “Kay”

The family of Katherine “Kay” (Saunders) McKinley of Marysville, NB are saddened to announce the passing of Kay at York Care Centre on June 6, 2020, at the age of 84.  Born on February 2, 1936 daughter of the late Bernard and Helen Saunders.
Kay loved being at her camp on the Dungarvon fishing with her beloved husband and spending time outdoors. She was an avid walker and loved her church. She also loved having coffee with neighbors and going to concerts. Kay is survived by her son Kevin (Melanie) McKinley; three daughters Kathy McKinley; Patti (Wayne) Miller and Donna (Jody) Chappelle; six grandchildren, Darcie McKinley, Lucas McKinley, Michael McKinley, Andrew Miller, Kaitlyn Chappelle, Carson Chappelle as well a niece and nephews. Besides her parents Kay is predeceased by her husband Donald (Don) sister Joan (Saunders) Phillip's and infant son Terry.

Funeral will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordan MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday,  June 10, 2020 by Invitation Only due to COVID 19 capacity restrictions.  To enable all who loved Kay and wish to honour her life, you are invited to attend the service by virtual Webcast at www.yorkfh.com (just click Funeral Webcast on the information bar). Donations can be made in Kay's name to Marysville Baptist Church or the donor's choice.
